Konstantin Bronzit is a Russian animator, director, and screenwriter known for his work in animated films. He was born on December 15, 1965, in Leningrad, USSR. Bronzit graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts in 1988. He then worked for 15 years at the famous St. Petersburg-based studio, Pilot Animation, where he created numerous award-winning films.
Bronzit has won numerous International awards including an Honorary Diploma at the Cannes Film Festival, a Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, and multiple awards at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. His most famous works include the animated short films "Lavatory Lovestory" (2007) and "We Can't Live Without Cosmos" (2014).
Bronzit is also a member of the Russian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Today, he works as a freelance animator and director, creating animated shorts and features, as well as commercials for global clients.
